I just started and after finding a name that wasn't taken.. I played a little as a Ranger, is there anything I should watch out for as I start my journey? and is the game solo friendly later on if I don't feel like joining anyone else? I missed the recent sale so I'm currently on the free Vers which I don't mind as it gives me more time to decide if I want to sink more time but will I miss out
Human. Norn. Sylvari. The Human one is notable because it specifically generates names that fit for Krytan, Ascalonian, Canthan, and Elonian characters. I also found it helpful to check out the other generators, especially the ones that the GW2 races take their naming practices from already -- ex: Welsh/Celtic names for Sylvari characters.
Log in through steam and choose another name because the one you originally want is taken. 10 years old game. obviously all the names are already taken. Names can't be taken they just add a # with a string of numbers so that's not an issue.
