If that does not resolve the issue though that will be clear confirmation that the issue is between Forza Horizon 4 and your Logitech G29 steering wheel. There are two things you can do about that: 1) Post your question over at the Official Forza Community Forums. This is to address if this is an in-game issue with the settings.
1 "Forza Horizon 4". Step 1: After entering the game, click "Settings". Step 2: After entering the settings, click "HUD AND GAMEPLAY". Step 3: Go to the bottom. 2 "Forza Horizon 5". Step 1: After entering the game, click "Settings". Step 2: Once in the settings, click "HUD AND GAMEPLAY", go to the bottom.
So, I got a series X, and can confirm steering sensitivity and wheel rotation settings don't exist. Default settings are ridiculously terrible to me, basically undriveable. So I spent a couple hours fiddling with it. To get steering angle to match wheel rotation, I turned on telemetry and adjusted steering outside deadspace.
Annoying but not as much of a problem as it sounds like you're having. From what I understand, they are actually replacing rotation angle setting with steering sensitivity setting. Not entirely sure how it works and what I'll need to set it to to have the same 540 degree setting but yea. Don't quote me on that though.
Have a Logitech G29 wheel. Works great with ACC and other games. With FH4 it seems like it is emulating a controllermeaning that at a certain point when the wheel is turned the car's wheels turn a lot all at once. If the road has a curve and you turn the wheel it will not follow the curve of the road. So you have to constantly move it back and forth to center. Kind of like using a game pad
. Start Forza Horizon 4 and create a custom mapping. If required, fix your force feedback. Play! HUGE WARNING. If FH4 can see your wheel as a native device, do NOT map any of the wheel axis (wheel or any attached pedals), hats or buttons to vJoy equivalents. FH4 will black screen shortly after start up.
anythingreally1232 • 4 yr. ago. I don’t own one of these but I assume you can calibrate it by connecting it to a pc. That is if you can’t calibrate it through the ingame wheel control settings. 1.
Feel free to set this up as you see fit, or loosely follow the usual Forza Horizon setup. Your menu may look a little different to mine, depending on how you setup your EmuWheel inputs. And after
It works perfectly, fh4 show the wheel on game setting, right now i only need someone to help me with setting, to make it as natural as possible Last edited by D. eL ; Jul 14, 2021 @ 7:09pm #3
Solution. #2. Google it - seems to be an issue with Logitech steering wheels and FH4 - no real solution from what ive seen unfortunately. I had issues with it even using my keyboard properly - switch to Xbox controller and no problems at all. 0.
